The Chairman of The Queens College Foundation spoke at the QC Hillel last week.The Foundation helps support the school and attempts to connect alumni to students. Chairman Jerry Cohen is also on the Board of Hillel at Queens College.
A partner of the accounting firm of Deloitte and Touche, Cohen spoke to students about his career, emphasizing the importance of using business to give back to the community. He also discussed the importance of working for a company that is committed more to its human resources than to its products. Cohen advised students on how to make decisions about their futures, telling them to “Follow your heart, engage your mind, and then consider your pocketbook.”
