    Hi Deborah,

I am the Co-Producer of the documentary film “Blues By The Beach.” The film is currently being screened at Jewish Film Festivals for a fee. No permission to screen or advertise the film was given to your Hillel chapter. I don’t know how you obtained a screener of the film but to screen and advertise it…is not Kosher.

My husband and I and Joshua Faudem the director of “Blues By The Beach” have put everything we have into making the film and doing the right thing by all the people at Mike’s Place in Israel. Ten Percent of any profits the film makes goes to the Life After Terror Fund which was set-up by the survivors of the Mike’s Place bombing in April 2003.

I understand that you may have thought it was okay to screen and advertise because of the importance and power the film has…but it is not okay to advertise and screen it without consent.

    Business is Business.

    Sincerely,
    Fran Strauss-Baxter
    Co-Producer
    BLUES BY THE BEACH
