Serendipity! Mere hours after posting about the YU Conservative Club, the YU Democrat Club emailed me. Their goals eerily mimicked the goals of the Conservative Club - almost as though it were a point by point response. I feel like a political commodity.
1) Fostering political awareness and activism around Yeshiva
University.
2) To explain how the Democratic Party holds similar beliefs to
that of Judaism, and not how Judaism can fit into the
Democratic Party.
3) Understanding how the Democratic Party’s strength for Israel
has been unwavering since the existence of the State.

The second goal seems apologetic in its assurance that the club would not show “how Judaism can fit into the Democratic Party.” Look forward to interviews with both Presidents.

As the former chairman of the YCdems, I am happy to see you disuade my impression that this was going to be a shill page for the CJF.
Inceidentally, the rabidly right wing Jewish Press just endored Hillary Clinton.
