As the first step in the expansion of CampusJ, we’ve added another seasoned journalist to our editorial staff. Rivka comes to us most recently from the New York Daily News, where she was a reporter in the Brooklyn bureau. Rivka also wrote for CampusJ from New York University, making her the first graduate of our program to be welcomed on staff.

A complete site overhaul is in the works (and if you’re reading this message, we’re almost entirely done), and we are making some interesting additions to the CampusJ program. Funding will primarily be used toward providing student reporters with an assistant editor, as well as stipends, supplies and other materials. Keep checking back with us as we jump head-first into the new academic year.
